What Changed This Month — and Why It Matters

This month’s leaderboard reflects both stability at the top and meaningful movement within the Top 10.

The Top 3 brands remained unchanged for a second consecutive month. This is a strong indicator that sustained reputation leadership is driven by repeatable, portfolio-wide practices rather than short-term review spikes.

At the same time, the composition of the Top 10 shifted. Trustwell Living and Sundale Senior Living both joined the leaderboard this month, replacing Highgate and Kisco Senior Living, which moved outside the Top 10. These changes highlight how competitive the rankings are at this level, where relatively small differences in performance can determine whether a brand moves in or out of the leaderboard.

Beyond new entrants, several brands saw notable position changes within the Top 10. Dial Senior Living and Northbridge Communities each climbed multiple spots, reflecting steady gains across key reputation metrics rather than outsized changes in any single area.

These movements highlight a core theme of the leaderboard: while sustained excellence creates stability at the very top, the margins inside the Top 10 are narrow, and maintaining position requires consistent execution.

Momentum Shifts Outside the Top 10

While the Top 10 brands have been relatively stable month over month, the data shows significantly more movement outside the leaderboard. Several operators made meaningful gains, while others experienced notable declines. This reinforces how quickly momentum can shift when performance trends change.

Notable gains this month include:

  • Allegro Senior Living, which climbed 39 positions and now sits in the top 15% of all brands
  • WellQuest Living, up 13 positions, moving into the top 20%
  • Century Park Associates, which rose 21 positions and is now just outside the top quartile

At the same time, several brands saw significant declines, including:

  • Danbury Senior Living fell 54 positions, placing it in the bottom half of all brands
  • Bridge Senior Living declined by 15 positions and now sits just above the midpoint of all monitored brands
  • Singh Senior Living and Chelsea Senior Living each declined by roughly a dozen positions and now sit outside the top third

Taken together, these movements reinforce a core dynamic of the Reputation Leaderboard: relative performance matters as much as absolute performance. In a crowded field, small differences in consistency, review recency, and portfolio-wide participation can quickly separate brands that are building momentum from those that are losing ground.

Understanding why those small differences have such an outsized impact is exactly what this benchmark is designed to illuminate.

Methodology

Our rankings are based on the Senior Living Reputation (SLR) Scores of all communities in a brand. The SLR Score™  provides a simple, standardized way to measure a community’s Google review performance and understand how prospective families perceive a location. This reflects real-world decision-making behaviors and helps communities understand what prospective families see.

For more details on the SLR Score™ see our blog post here.‍
